OneroRx is pleased to announce that a new community telepharmacy will be coming to Toulon inside a brand-new healthcare clinic, formerly the Aunt Martha’s-Great River Community Health Center. Toulon Telepharmacy is the newest addition to Local Health Pharmacy, a subsidiary of OneroRx.
Toulon residents have expressed their needs for a telepharmacy in their community and believe that this telepharmacy inside the clinic will benefit the community. Telepharmacy operations will begin upon completion of the building and approval from the state.
Toulon Telepharmacy will be staffed by a certified pharmacy technician who will be filling scripts received from providers; using HIPAA-compliant technology, a pharmacist reviews the prescriptions and is available promptly to meet with and counsel patients virtually. Immunization services will also now be available locally on set days by appointment. Patients will also benefit from easy access to over-the-counter products and local delivery. Toulon Telepharmacy will be able to perform all functions and fill all prescriptions as a normal pharmacy.
