Daniel Varnum was appointed as Director of OneroRX in May of 2026 and has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector, including executive roles overseeing strategy, operations, and performance improvement for integrated delivery systems and large employed-physician organizations. He is the founder of Varnum Group LLC, where he serves as an executive coach focused on leadership development.

Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa and held senior administrative leadership roles with MercyOne and Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines. Mr. Varnum brings experience in scaling physician enterprises, leading organizational integration efforts, and driving operational excellence and cultural change.

Mr. Varnum’s other activities include: Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE); has served as a director of First Citizens National Bank (Mason City, Iowa). He holds a B.S., Industrial Engineering, Iowa State University and a M.B.A., Drake University.
