(DES MOINES, IA) It’s the season of making “Best of” lists in the Des Moines metro, and Medicap Pharmacy of Central Iowa is proud to be recognized once again by our neighbors through their votes! Out of all the options available, from Altoona and Ames to West Des Moines and Waukee, Medicap Pharmacy placed second in the Des Moines Radio Group’s People’s Choice awards.
Iowa Living Magazines also ask residents to vote throughout the year, and Norwalk brought home the Best of Warren County award this year, too!

Medicap Pharmacy of Central Iowa has been serving the Des Moines metropolitan area since 1975, growing to 20 retail locations over the years. Since the beginning, the staff at Medicap have been focused on both serving the community and being involved in the community. In recent years, that has translated to a range of patient-focused services, from being a leading provider of COVID-19 vaccinations to adding lines of medical equipment like diabetic shoes and over-the-counter hearing aids.
The support extends beyond the pharmacy counter, too. Medicap of Central Iowa has been a partner of the Food Bank of Iowa for the past 5 years, donating a portion of every flu shot given to the local pantries.
